Breeding classes will be broken into two sections: Wool or Meat breeds

Market Lamb Breeds: Hampshire, Suffolk, Crossbred, Natural, Southdown, Dorset & Speckle Face

Market Classes will be split by breed then weight.

Entry Information

Entries will only be accepted on the Showman App website. We will not accept any entries in the fair office.

Entry Fees

$30 per head

$15 per participant for Showmanship

Late Entry Fee: $50 per head and $15 per participant for Showmanship

Show Rules:

  • Animals must be accompanied by a proper health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian withing 30 days of the show. Health certificates are retained by show management.
  • Ewes and Wethers show together and are split by breed.
  • Market classes will be divided into weight classes as deemed necessary by the CSF livestock committee and show management.
  • Each animal can only be shown in one class (plus showmanship)
  • Premiums will be mailed out directly following the fair.
  • Central States Fair, Inc. or anyone helping with the show assumes no responsibility for accident or injury. CSF personnel will not be responsible for any injury or loss of any animal or accident thereby.

Stalling Information

Barn 8 is reserved for the Central States Fair livestock shows; with overflow available if needed. Stalls are not assigned, and are available on a first come first served basis. All stalls are pre-bedded, unlocked, and ready for your arrival. Please be courteous and pick up after yourself. There are limited swine pens available in Barn 9. Barn release is at the end of your show. No set barn release times will be mandated.
